World Cup Mouse Illustrations Are Rolling In

Every few days lately, I’ve been receiving the final illustrations for World Cup Mouse from the wonderful artist, Ursula Andrejczuk. Here’s one that arrived today. This picture illustrates the section in the book that reads:

“Louie was not used to the speed and force with which these world-class players could kick the ball. One of the men passed the ball hard toward him. Without thinking, Louie jumped up to try to trap the pass with his chest. Oomff! He found himself lifted off his feet and flying, draped over the ball, across the field. “Aiiihhh!” he screamed as he flew through the air. He landed on his butt far down the field.”
